“One child, one teacher, one book & one pen can change the world.” (Yousafzai & McCormick, 2016)
This to me means that every person, voice, action, opinion matters. It has an impact on those around you and can change the world in a positive way. I will implement this philosophy in my classroom by stressing the idea of an inclusive classroom. Students will be aware of the fact that everyone is welcome, everyone deserves an education, and everyone in this room has an important role that impacts one another. Most of the learning we do as individuals is from those around us. I strongly believe that this quote relates to the importance of diversity and inclusion. Which is why I will have various activities planned for my students which will outline this importance.
Reflection:
Every person, voice, and opinion matters. We all have an impact on those around us even if we may not realize it.
